Scottsdale Spring Training Festival

Scottsdale’s award-winning Spring Training Festival brings together the best of baseball Saturday, March 4, 2017 to celebrate the start of the Cactus League and another season of America’s Pastime.

Fans can enjoy interactive baseball exhibits, hands-on activities focused around the science of baseball, meet and greets with former players, a baseball memorabilia and card show, skill tests, merchandise vendors, live music and food.

Don’t miss the Dick’s Sporting Goods whiffle ball field where kids can soft toss and mingle with legends of the game or just have fun.

The 2017 lineup includes:

  • Arizona Diamondbacks

  • San Francisco Giants

  • Society for American Baseball Research

  • Arizona SciTech Festival – Science of Baseball

  • Arizona Spring Training Experience and Cactus League Hall of Fame

  • MLB Hall of Famers Ferguson Jenkins, Gaylord Perry and other players affiliated with the Fergie Jenkins Foundation

  • Members of the Arizona MLB Alumni group

  • Authors Tabitha Soren and Charlie Vascellaro

  • Phoenix Card Show

  • Rock n Roll High School

  • And special musical guest:  Country Western artist Tim Hurley and his band.

This free, family-friendly event runs from 10am to 4pm at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
