That’s what people in the Valley have been saying for years, when they are looking for a fun, friendly, upscale neighborhood tavern that appeals to everyone.

The Vig, known as one of best patio bars in the Valley, has opened its fifth location in North Scottsdale and it’s the concept’s most extensive location to date. The newest location has roughly 13,000-square-feet of space & takes advantage of the breath-taking mountain views from nearly every seat in the house, with large floor-to-ceiling windows as well as other elements that bring the outdoors inside.

Part of the reason behind the expansive space is due to its proximity to McDowell Mountain, the city’s Gateway Center and the Sonoran Mountain Preserve. VMMR is counting on serving as a refreshment pit stop before or after outdoor recreational activities.

They’ve even installed a bike rack, lockers and a locker room next to the outside restrooms for guests to use to freshen up and have breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Some love them for their terrific patio, others for their unique but affordable menu items. Still others show up for their mix of live music and DJ’s, and of course there are those who just want to enjoy a cool beverage and a friendly game of bocce ball.

VMMR is located at 10199 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, on the corner of Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Hours of operation are Monday – Wednesday 11am-11pm, Thursday 11am-12am, Friday 11am-2am, Saturday 10am-2am & Sunday 10am-11pm.
